Katie spent 15 years working as an attorney, focusing on employment discrimination cases, before following her call to become an entrepreneur. While practicing law, to help clients in their time of despair she used her humor. Katie believes that humor disarms the grumpy, soothes the sick, and fuels the joyful.

Though she had a successful career, Katie knew something was missing in her life. She found her muse when her daughter Casey arrived, her most important case! Katie kicked off her courtroom heels, mortgaged her law office and opened Silly Dilly Tot Spot, a retail store "for giddy kiddies of all ages." Katie's dream-come-true shop, located in South Tampa, Florida, is a magical treasure to all who know it.
