Katherine wrote for a long time before having kids, but she didn't write her first novel until after she became a mom. Her children are integral to her writing life. She currently resides in Houston, Texas with her husband and two children.

Katherine’s recent novel, Everyone Is Beautiful, is featured in the March issue of Redbook.
